Casey Hess

Casey Hess is a Portland native who trained with Metro Dancers, Columbia Dance, Portland Festival Ballet, and Jefferson Dancers. Hess received his BFA from The Juilliard School in 2017 and was awarded the Martha Hill Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Dance and Leadership. Hess was dancing with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company in New York City pre-Covid. A few notable projects include the Merce Cunningham Centennial (CAP UCLA), Reid Bartelme and Harriet Jung’s Works & Process at The Guggenheim (Christopher Williams), and Marc Jacobs New York Fashion Week Fall 2020 (Karole Armitage). Casey Hess is currently serving as an AmeriCorps with Metropolitan Family Service providing opportunities for elementary school students to develop Social Emotional Learning skills and their sense of School Belonging.
