Jonathan Wolken

BodyVox is deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend Jonathan Wolken, Artistic Director of Pilobolus. I was on tour with Jonathan and Pilobolus from 1978-1982, and Ashley and I have maintained a warm friendship with Jonathan in the years since. In 2006 we invited Jonathan to create a piece with BodyVox, the result being the touching and humorous romp, "The Usual Suspects". The dance world has lost a treasure; a powerful, sweet and prolific artist with a unique voice. We will miss him dearly.
