See BodyVox-2 Perform an exciting new show, March 7-9, 2013!
Under the direction of veteran BodyVox performer Zachary Carroll, BodyVox-2 provides a mentoring and performing opportunity for talented young dancers as they transition from training to the professional world.
This emerging group of performers have become a major key to the success of BodyVox. They perform in all BodyVox school assemblies, spending a significant amount of time working with our E-Team and visiting schools throughout Oregon and SW Washington. They also perform and tour a unique show composed of classic BodyVox dances and new work created especially for them. All while training and rehearsing with the dancers of BodyVox; understudying repertory, helping to develop new work and gaining valuable professional and performing experience in the process.
BodyVox-2 brought down house at their SRO performance in Hood River. Their unique, clever, graceful, witty and engaging dance form was a treat to our rural, yet sophisticated audience. By Columbia Arts presenting BV-2 in our community we were able to offer accessible high quality entertainment for many that may not have the opportunity to see it otherwise. The performance along with a master class provided us with a chance to not only build our partnership with the local dance academy, but inspire and instruct emerging dancers. Can’t wait to have BodyVox-2 back to town!
