When BodyVox collaborated with Dark Horse comic artist Pop Mahn on the original show "Zapped" we learned that Pop had often used photos of Ashley Roland that he had found in books and calendars as inspiration when drawing superheroes. We decided to run with the idea and asked artists from Portland's thriving comic scene to illustrate over Polara Studio's photos of BodyVox. The result is a stunning transformation of studio photos into full-on fantasy. We hope you like it.
