AUDITION INFORMATION:

Due to Covid-19 we are not holding a large group audition this year. We will hold auditions through virtual class, a small in person class, or video audition. Please contact heather@bodyvox.com for more information regarding your auditioning options for the 2020/21 JAG season. We will be accepting auditions Jul. 20-Aug. 20.

About JAG:

Join the elite training and performance program at the home of Portland's world renowned dance company, BodyVox. BodyVox is also a proud Chapter Sponsor of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts.

BodyVox’s Junior Artist Generator (JAG) is a  performance-training program for high-school age dancers, which consists of a demanding multidisciplinary curriculum to develop versatility, flexibility, and improvisational skills. Students will develop a strong dance foundation based in ballet and jazz technique. In addition, students will participate in a fully produced performance program with opportunities for supplemental performances at area events. BodyVox seeks to infuse students with a commitment to performance, and most importantly, curiosity and joy in life, art, and dance.

Teachers and choreographers will include:
Heather Jackson, Sarah Fuhrman, James Healy, Rachel Slater, Sara Parker, Thorey Mountain, DarVejon Jones, Vanessa Thiessen, Daniel Kirk as well as BodyVox Artistic Directors: Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland
