BodyVox fans are all invited to a special free musical program on Wednesday evening, February 29, part of a series created by our colleague pianist Bill Crane. "La bouboisie dans la ville des roses" is the fifth of seven recitals in "Jubal Sighed: seven concerts in a week to mark a Portland artist's 60th birthday," is free of charge, lasts an hour without intermission, and starts at 6:00 p.m. Featured artists include our own Daniel Kirk and Eric Skinner, plus hoola-hoop masters, and Sage Ricci, tattoo artist. Music of Francois Couperin, John Cage, and Johann Sebastian Bach via a Brahms transcription undergird some pretty wild carryings-on for piano, prepared piano, toy piano, and harpsichord. NOTE: This program is not suitable for children nor the faint of heart.
