Portland Octopus

When it comes to Halloween, most entertainment revolves around pumpkins, haunted houses, and costumes. Lucky for us there are alternative forms of entertainment when corn mazes get old.  BodyVox Dance Center is offering an inspiring  performance, BloodyVox,  in celebration of their favorite holiday. Under the artistic direction of Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland, performers will be combining new and old pieces to bring Halloween to life.

BloodyVox is a creative dance production that will be performed October 21st – October 30th at the Portland BodyVox Dance Center.  Dancers come on stage as vampires, zombies, corpses and clowns to spook and inspire young and old audiences alike. With undertones of Young Frankenstein, BloodyVox is a tongue and cheek show that is sure to entertain.

Anyone who knows me (and how much I love shows like, So You Think You Can Dance) will know I will definitely be attending the show this Halloween season.  Join me at BodyVox Dance Center located at 1201 NW 17th Ave. Show times vary between 7pm and 2pm matinees. Check the schedule for times and prices.
