female music artists ranging from Fiona Apple to Yoko Ono, with dance and story to create a visually stunning production: Rain & Roses. This show features BodyVox’s signature brand of dance theater in a world premiere that is moving, inspiring, and deeply entertaining. Taking this show off-site to the expansive North Warehouse provides a raw, gritty, and beautiful backdrop which allows for creativity to fly. Choreographed by Artistic Directors Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland, with additional choreography by company members Alicia Cutaia, Jeff George, and Daniel Kirk, this show explores the intricacies of life, from love and attraction to the ironic and irreverent. Rain & Roses will be accompanied by BodyVox’s House Band, featuring Michael Papillo, Galen Clark, and Jason Okamoto. This groundbreaking show is not to miss: wit, whimsy, and Portland weird.
