Brooke Bero

Brooke Bero is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin which is where she began training at Milwaukee Ballet under the direction of Michael Pink and Rolando Yanes. During her time as a student in the academy she had the privilege of performing in some of Michael Pink's world premieres including Peter Pan and Cinderella. After training with Milwaukee Ballet and spending summers at The Joffrey Ballet in Chicago she continued her formal training at Point Park University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in dance with a specialization in ballet. During her time at the university she performed works from George Balanchine's Serenade to Peter Merz's The Together Colored Instinct. After graduating Brooke's professional career began at Eugene Ballet Company, where she was a part of Toni Pimble's new works including The Snow Queen and The Great Gatsby. While she has remained on the west coast for the majority of her career she also spent a season dancing in Melbourne, Australia as well as Charlottesville, Virginia. Most recently Brooke was a soloist with Ballet Fantastique and had the privilege of being a lead character in their first ever ballet movie: An American Christmas Carol which premiered Christmas 2020. While she loves performing, Brooke has a special love and skill for teaching dance. She's taught a wide variety of students and enjoys teaching all levels regardless of age or previous training. She's very excited to be on staff with BodyVox and hopes to enrich and encourage students of all ages. Dancing brings her great joy and she hopes to share that in every class she teaches.
