Elizabeth Bressler

Elizabeth Bressler was born in Portland, OR. She trained at Oregon Ballet Theater, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and with Tracey Durbin. In 2012 she studied with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel. During her four years at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance she trained closely in Ballet, Improvisation, Contemporary, Modern, and Gaga with Summer Lee Rhatigan, Bobbi Jene Smith, and Christian Burns. Elizabeth has been a member of the Jefferson Dancers, A-WOL aerial dance collective, and Maligrad Dance Company. She has worked with choreographers such as Rachel Slater, Tracey Durbin, Suzanne Chi, Sara Parker, Alexander Dones, Christine Cali, and Molly Fletcher. She also regularly performs her own choreography in collaboration with Sarah Brahim.

Since 2010, Elizabeth has taught all forms of dance at Westside Dance Academy, as well as choreographed for their high school company. In her spare time, Elizabeth teaches Pilates and loves helping people grow stronger and reorganize their bodies. She believes everyone is a dancer, and that movement is our most powerful medicine.
